Ingredients in Raspberry Salad Dressing
If you look at store bought salad dressing, the list of ingredients are several line and along with added sugars, you more than likely will notice many ingredients you can not even pronounce. My homemade raspberry dressing is made with just a few simple, wholesome ingredients.
- Fresh Raspberries
- Olive Oil
- Red Wine Vinegar
- Grape Juice–This may sound like an odd addition, but just like in my Blueberry Muffins, grape juice works as a wonderful natural sweetener.
- Salt, pepper, and onion powder for a bit of savory flavor
How To Make Raspberry Vinaigrette
Making homemade vinaigrette is typically as easy as pouring everything into a resealable jar and giving a good shake. However, because there are fresh berries in this salad dressing, Raspberry Vinaigrette takes a TINY bit more effort.
Instead of a jar, place all ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth. Easy Peasy! You can strain dressing over fine mesh strainer to remove any raspberry seeds, but I do not find this necessary, as the seeds are quite tiny.
p>My favorite way to serve this raspberry vinaigrette is in a simple Raspberry Summer Salad, with mixed greens, diced avocados, chopped almonds and additional fresh raspberries.
